Emulsifiable concentrated liquid insecticide.

ONLY PY is a concentrated emulsifiable liquid insecticide based solely on Pyrethrins, an active substance of natural origin. ONLY PY is characterised by a strong knockdown effect and therefore a high speed of action against crawling insects (cockroaches and ants), flying insects (flies and mosquitoes, including the tiger mosquito) and food insects. The characteristics of Pyrethrins also allow it to be used in sensitive areas such as schools, hospitals, green areas and food industries. ONLY PY is effective against:

•  food insects: flying (Plodia interpunctella, Ephestia kuehniella ) and crawlingStegobium paniceum, Lasioderma serricorne )
• crawling insects (cockroaches, ants and fleas)
• flying insects (flies and mosquitoes, including the tiger mosquito) Aedes albopictus )

Present in:

• food industries: PASTE factories, bakeries, pastry shops, restaurants, bars, canteens;
• warehouses and silos (in the absence of foodstuffs)
• rural environments and animal shelters (can be used in organic farms)
• houses, offices, shops, hotels, campsites, tourist villages
• schools, kindergartens and hospitals
• vehicles: ships, trains, buses, containers in the absence of foodstuffs
• green areas: hedges, gardens, public and private parks, tree-lined avenues and ornamental plants in general.
• industries in general.

METHODS AND DOSES OF USE
ONLY PY can be used both outdoors, where possible in the evening and during the cooler hours of the day, and indoors, leaving the product to act for at least 2 hours after treatment and then adequately ventilating the room. ONLY PY should be diluted in water for use with pre-compression sprayers, sprayers, cold ULV foggers, and in specific glycol-based solvents for use with hot foggers. ONLY PY should be used at the following doses:

• 3% (300 ml of product in 10 Lt of water or solvent) against food pests;
• 3% (300 ml of product in 10 Lt of water or solvent) against flies and mosquitoes, including the tiger mosquito;
• 3-5% (300-500 ml of product in 10 Lt of water or solvent) against ants, cockroaches and fleas.

1 litre of solution is indicated for the treatment of 20 m2 of surface. For treatment using foggers, sprayers and ULVs, ONLY PY should be used at the following doses:

• Against food pests, indoors: 1 litre of 30% solution (corresponding to 300 ml of product in 700 ml of water or solvent) per 1500 m3;
• Against flies and mosquitoes, including the tiger mosquito, indoors: 1 litre of 12% solution (corresponding to 120 ml of product in 880 ml of water or solvent) per 1500 m3;
• Against mosquitoes, including tiger mosquitoes, outdoors: 1 litre of 3% solution (corresponding to 30 ml of product in 970 ml of water or solvent) per 200 m2;

IPM (Integrated Pest Management) STRATEGIES
The knockdown characteristics of the pure Pyrethrins contained in ONLY PY make the formulation suitable for IPM programmes.
Product suitable for organic production in accordance with Regulation (EC) 834/2007 and 889/2008.
